Factory Five
Long short on space, the Motorplex garage has helped me realize a long-time goal: build your own car (I guess ‘assemble’ a car will have to do for now). I’ve ordered a Factory Five MK4 Cobra kit. Coming soon – busted knuckles, new swear word combinations, and hopefully in a few months/year, a kick ass new toy for me 🙂
This gives you an idea of what the final product should look like.. except mine won’t be silver.
Powered by Ford’s new 427 CID small block monster. 505hp SAE/520ft lbs torque. Should move along nicely.
March 24th – Stuck in town this week, I negotiated the early arrival of the knuckle-busting, skin-scraping beast.
Progress is slow due to my interest in taking advantage of our painfully short summer. Progress below as of June 1: It will look like this until about Nov 1. 🙂
